WARRANTY TERMS & REGISTRATION

By registering a warranty (completing the form below) with Soap Guitars LLC (“Soap Guitars”, “SoapGuitars.com”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, do not register a warranty with us. The below warranty terms are applicable to only products on our website that indicate having an option for warranty. For all other website usage, purchasing, and privacy terms, please visit our terms page. 

Products We Cover Under Warranty

At this time, we only offer a warranty on new guitar purchases, meaning other items that may be sold on our site (such as accessories, apparel, or other merchandise) are not covered under warranty. 

Registration & Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to register a warranty. In order for a warranty to be valid, you must accurately enter the information requested on our warranty registration form. If any information is submitted incorrectly or falsely, the warranty will be considered void. 

Timeline for Registration

Customers who purchase a new guitar have 30 days to register their guitar for warranty. Failure to register a guitar within 30 days from the date of purchase will result in no warranty coverage.

Warranty Coverage & Service

Newly purchased and properly registered guitars are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of original purchase to the original purchaser. Soap Guitars will repair or replace, at its option, any guitar or part thereof which is found by Soap Guitars to be defective. Soap Guitars reserves the right to use materials regularly utilized at the time of repair in the event that original materials are no longer available. Soap Guitars reserves the right to determine whether a reported defect is legitimate, repairable, or refundable. Warranty service requires a copy of the original sales receipt to be presented at time of service request.

Warranty Timeline

Warranty coverage starts from the original date of purchase after registration (not from the date of registration) and is in effect for a period of 1 year. Warranty coverage is no longer available after the 1-year anniversary date of original purchase. 

The Warranty DOES NOT Cover:

1. Any guitar that has been altered or modified in any way from its original state, as originally purchased and shipped from Soap Guitars. 
2. Any guitar in which the serial number has been tampered with or altered.
3. Any guitar that has been damaged due to misuse, neglect, or accident. 
4. Any guitar that has been subjected to extreme humidity or temperature conditions. 
5. The subjective issue of tonal characteristics, or look & feel.
6. Any guitar that has been serviced by unauthorized personnel (any person or business that is not directly affiliated with Soap Guitars).
7. Shipping damages of any kind. If a guitar is found to be damaged in shipping, please contact the original shipping company (UPS/FedEx/USPS), as most (if not all) guitars we ship are covered by shipping insurance. 
8. Normal wear and tear such as, but not limited to, worn frets, worn machine heads, worn input jacks, string replacement, scratched plates or pickguards, damage from accessories (straps, capos, mounted tuning devices, etc.), or damages to or discoloration of the instrument finish for any reason. 
9. The case in which the guitar comes in. We are authorized resellers of Gator Cases© and they provide their own warranty, which can be found here. 
10. Shipping charges to and from Soap Guitars facilities. 
11. Claims by anyone other than the original and registered purchaser.

Soap Guitars reserves the right to determine whether or not any of the above conditions are true at the time of service. In the event we believe an individual or entity is attempting to defraud us (purposely damages a guitar in an attempt to exercise the warranty), we will promptly deny any request for service, refund, or return of goods.

Revisions To Our Warranty

You acknowledge and agree that we reserve the right to revise our warranty at any time for any reason and reserve the right to make changes at any time, without notice or obligation, to any of the information and materials contained in our warranty.
